How is Medipim different from a PIM like Akeneo, or from GS1?
Medipim combines both, and takes care of the data itself as well. A PIM such as Akeneo supplies the technology and GS1 supplies the standards, but both rely on manufacturers to enter and maintain their own data. Often that happens only in part, or not at all. Medipim has the technology and applies the standards, from GTIN to NDC. Above all, Medipim collects, checks, photographs and updates the data itself, across the whole pharmacy range: from over-the-counter medicines to beauty and wellness products.

Yes. Connected applications can retrieve the latest product information available in Medipim in real time through the Medipim API. Technical documentation is available for each country.
