You will find product information in many places in and around your pharmacy: in your pharmacy software, a webshop or app, an ordering platform, or on screens in your pharmacy. Often you use this information without knowing that it comes from Medipim.

In your pharmacy software

When you look up a product, your pharmacy software can display information from Medipim. This may include product photos, descriptions, composition or alternatives. You can consult this data in the software you use every day.

In your pharmacy's webshop or app

Do you have your own webshop or app, built by a web agency? Your agency can then integrate product images, descriptions and categories through a connection to Medipim. This is also possible for the webshop or app of your pharmacy group.

On ordering platforms

You can also find Medipim product information and images on B2B ordering platforms. This helps you recognize the right product faster and compare products before you order.

On screens, in robots and in collection lockers

Product information may, for example, appear on your pharmacy robot's screen or next to a product in a collection locker. The data displayed depends on the application and its integration with Medipim.

In ordering kiosks and self-checkouts

At an ordering kiosk, customers can browse your range and choose a product with the help of Medipim product information and images. At a self-checkout, the images help identify the scanned product on screen.

Directly on the Medipim platform

You can also use Medipim directly. With a subscription, you can log in to the platform without needing pharmacy software or an integration. Access is restricted to healthcare professionals. You can look up product information and, for example, report a missing photo.

What product information can I look up through Medipim?

You can consult available data about pharmacy products, such as codes, descriptions, features and images. The content varies by product.

How do I get access to the Medipim platform?

Only healthcare professionals can access the platform. A subscription gives you a login so you can use Medipim on your computer, tablet or smartphone. Every subscription includes platform access. Already a customer but do not have a login? Contact us. To log in, use the Log in button at the top of this website.

How do I look up a product on the platform?

Search by product name or browse Medipim's categories, then refine the results with filters. You can combine searching and filtering, for example by Fine Line category, active ingredient or indication.

What if a photo is missing or out of date, or a detail is incorrect?

Report it using the feedback button at the top of the product page on the platform. You can also use it to request a new product photo. If the product is in stock at HRG, where our photo studio is located, the photo is usually available quickly. Otherwise, we ask the manufacturer for images.

How do I know whether my software or application works with Medipim?

Ask the provider of your pharmacy software, webshop, ordering platform, screens, robot or kiosk. If the provider works with Medipim, the application can display product information from Medipim. The data you see depends on the application. Unsure? Contact Medipim.

I want to use Medipim images and descriptions in my webshop. What should I do?

First choose between a ready-made webshop from a partner working with Medipim and a bespoke webshop or app. If you choose a bespoke solution, you will receive a quote with our terms and conditions, which you approve electronically. You will then receive a platform login, and your web developer will receive an API key and the technical documentation.

Can I choose which products appear in my webshop?

Yes. You build your range by brand, manufacturer, category or product code. If you select by brand, manufacturer or category, new products that match your selection are added automatically. Does your range exceed the size agreed in your quote? Your webshop keeps working as normal and we discuss an adjustment to your subscription.

Can I supply product information myself?

That depends on your role and the arrangements for your organization. Product information can be managed through the Medipim platform or an integration. Contact us to discuss the options.

Provide or use product information?

Manufacturers submit their product information once. Medipim checks and processes it, so pharmacies, wholesalers, online shops and software providers can immediately work with usable data.
